1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FootChakra's website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers of FootChakra.

2. Services Description

FootChakra provides wellness services including foot reflexology, therapeutic massage, infrared sauna therapy, and related wellness treatments at our facility in Chennai, India. Our services are intended to promote relaxation and general well-being and are not a substitute for medical treatment.

3. Account Registration & OTP Authentication

  • Sign-up & Login: You may register and sign in either with email + password or via SMS one-time password (OTP) sent to your mobile number.
  • Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information (including a valid mobile number capable of receiving SMS).
  • Confidentiality: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and OTP. Do not share OTPs with anyone, including persons claiming to represent FootChakra. We will never ask for your OTP over a phone call.
  • Account Security: Notify us immediately at info@footchakra.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for all activity under your account until reported.
  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • Account Deletion: You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, transactional records may be retained for the period required by Indian tax and accounting law.

4. Booking and Appointments

  • Reservations: Appointments can be booked through our website, phone, or in person. All bookings are subject to therapist and slot availability.
  • Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation of your booking via SMS and/or email. Please verify all details (service, date, time, therapist) are correct.
  • Therapist Selection: For services involving body massage, you may select a therapist of the same gender. Certain consultations are available only with specific specialists (e.g., Acupuncturist consultation with Dr. Ajay Vasant).
  • Arrival: Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.
  • Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to avoid delays for other clients. Full charges will still apply.
  • Rescheduling: Subject to availability, you may reschedule up to 24 hours in advance at no additional charge.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellation: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment are eligible for a full refund.
  • Late Cancellation: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost.
  • No-Show: Failure to arrive for a scheduled appointment without prior notice will result in forfeiture of the full payment.
  • Package Refunds: Subscription packages (3-month, 6-month, 1-year) are non-refundable once any redemption has been made. Unused, fully-unredeemed packages are refundable within 7 days of purchase, less applicable processing fees.
  • Refund Processing: Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via Razorpay and typically appear within 5-7 business days, depending on your bank.

6. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking for online reservations.
  • Payments are processed securely through Razorpay (PCI-DSS compliant). We accept credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, and select wallets.
  • FootChakra does not store your card or banking details on its servers — they are tokenized by Razorpay.
  • All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices and packages are subject to change without prior notice. Existing bookings and unredeemed packages remain valid at the price paid.
  • For subscription packages, the validity period (3 / 6 / 12 months) starts on the date of purchase and unused value does not roll over after expiry.

7. Health and Safety

For your safety and the safety of our therapists:

  • Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, or pregnancy before your session.
  • Our services are not recommended for individuals with certain health conditions. Please consult your healthcare provider if you have concerns.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to receive services independently. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe it may be harmful to your health.

8. Code of Conduct

To ensure a peaceful environment for all clients:

  • Please maintain quiet and respectful behavior in our facility.
  • Mobile phones should be switched to silent mode.
  • Any form of inappropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of services without refund.
  • We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment of our staff.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of FootChakra and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

FootChakra and its employees shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of our services, except where caused by our negligence. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.

11. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
